a quick rest on Maui, out to Africa, then Beijing, new Zealand and back to Europe, there was very little downtime.
And what a time it was... I won't soon forget all the adventures and people I met along the way: all the nutty screaming Euros wanting a pic with me, the porters at Kilimanjaro, the kids at the Right to Play camps, the athletes and Chinese people at the Olympics, and on and on.
Today I have mapped out a bit of a different year in which the priorities are less centered around adventure (although there will plenty of that too) and more around a disciplined plan as we head into 2010, the Vancouver Winter Olympics year.
One thing won't be different though: I'll still be challenging myself, pushing the limits of what I know and can do. That alone should keep every day fresh and exciting, just the way I like it.
